Camp215 and the Philly gang returns to PDF for the 14th time! Come on by and let us entertain you with, the Slip N Slide, Trader Travis and Ye Olde Time Photo Booth and The Great Quentini.
Slip N Slide THIS IS A NO CAMERA EVENT. Saturday 2:15. You've all seen it, 800+ sq. ft of wet slippery fun, with your hostess "Heidi the Hose Girl". With the help of the Vietnam Vets as Judges, there will be trophies awarded to naked sliders, but the clothed sliders are welcome too. Don’t miss the Opening Ceremonies with the SnS Synchonized Swim team. New for this year... we'll have a radar gun to measure the speed of the fastest slider! Trader Travis Like a lost nomad scurrying the floor of barren Earth for spare parts, Trader Travis forfeits his wares to the people of Playa Del Fuego. From his suppliers and warehouses all across the land to items from his own personal collection of odds and ends, come amazing items for you to enjoy. Bring what you have to trade, nothing is for sale. Line of credit from last fall must be "paid" in full before further credit is issued for select gold card members. Membership has it's privileges. Open most days, some evening hours. Kids Music Jam Camp 215's youngest member, Owen, has brought along his collection of various musical instruments to share with other little PDFrs. We're looking for a record deal to pay for college. All inquiries welcome. Please Note: This is not a daycare, parents must remain present with their child. Any child who arrives alone or stays without parent will be turned over to Child Protection Services or the VVMC—highest bidder takes them home. Open when it's not nap time. "Ye Olde Time Photos" Get your photo taken in a neat-o set with ancient old timey artifacts like a typewriter. We'll take your photo and post it on Picassa or use your own camera! Miss Fidget will bring a variety of period attire in a range of sizes. Offered: Friday thru Sun Hours: Vary. Swing by. The Great Quentini will be performing on the stage 8-8:30 pm Sat night right after the Burner choir (that's a hard act to follow). Drumming and instrument building workshop lead by The Great Quentini, Sunday 2:15 I'll bring out the newest instruments in my collection and demonstrate some easy fun movement/percussion games. I'll talk about instrument design and basic rhythm but it won't be all talk we will get down and play. Bring a drum if you like or other percussion toys and a willingness to play. Sunday evening I'll be burning my Art project, "Totem" Please whoop it up. |
